St. Stanislaus School, Bandra, Mumbai gets its first non-Jesuit school principal
MUMBAI: The 152-year-old Jesuit institution, St Stanislaus High School, Bandra, will for the first time have a non-Jesuit principal from 2015-16. The school's supervisor, Anna Correa, will take over as principal.

"For the first time in our school's history, we are trying to have a non-Jesuit principal. We hope the school will benefit from this change," said Fr Jude Fernandes SJ, the current school principal. The school principal for nine years, he will now take over as principal of St Mary's School (SSC), Mazgaon.
Correa, who has been school supervisor for five years, said she was excited about the new role. "I have been with the school for 27 years, so the school is not new to me. But being the first non-Jesuit and woman principal here will be an adventure I am looking forward to," she said.
