CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION

 

In a  bid  to celebrate the Children's Day , teachers of our school along with the management  staff came together to present a short cultural programme.

The programme began with a prayer song by the teachers. This song was followed by variety of splendid performances where in teachers took part with great zeal and dressed as students to present their event.The Rajasthani folk dance left the students awestruck.

  Father Principal gave an emboldening message in his speech wherein he appealed to all the students to discover themselves, celebrate life passionately and contribute in the positive development of our nation.

All the students were elated and enjoyed the day. They were grateful to the teachers and the management for their efforts to make this day an unforgettable one.

 

 

FOURTH ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

The School witnessed an enthralling 4th Annual Sports Day in its premises. Major General PP Prakash Singh,VSM(Vishisht Seva Medal) graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event showcased various mesmerizing programmes  such as March Past wherein students participated in the parade beaming with pride and confidence.The presentation 'Save Water Save Life'  by the students conveyed the firm message of water conservation. Aerobics with the theme 'Women Empowerment' caught everybody's attention. Karate, Yoga, Gymnastics displayed the spellbound co-ordination by  the students.The track events such as Hoop Scoop race, Tunnel race, Relay race, Dressing up for the party race,  Parents race etc proved to be  extremely thrilling. 

The chief guest congratulated and emboldened the students for the surreal performance by everyone and emphasized the importance of sports in everyone's life.
Rev.Father John Ravi S.J. addressed the gathering and made an appeal to the parents to allow their children to spend significant time for sports to accelerate the holistic growth. He also said, "In order to instil better discipline and work culture, Sports and games play a pivotal role in the lives of students.What we need today is not just the intelligent students but SMART students. Xavier's believe in nurturing students through sports along with academics to enable them to become contributing members towards the society."

The programme concluded with the award ceremony for various events. The Best Sports person award was bagged by Anshika Kanwar and Hardik Singh Kalyanwat. The Greens House won both 'The Best Disciplined House and The Best House (All Over Sports) trophy. The programme  concluded with the national anthem.

 

G.K QUIZ COMPETITION

This month had been tremendously exhilarating for St. Xavier's School,Nevta as it witnessed the most awaited  G.K Quiz Competition.It was a week- long event wherein various classes participated on various days.

There were six teams for each class and each team comprised of 4 participants who were splendidly elated . The resplendent performance by the team members was commendable.The event was concluded by the felicitation of the winners by Rev.Father John Ravi who appealed to students to constantly update themselves in order to keep up with the pace of fast changing competitive world.
